Have you ever asked yourself where does the fish you eat come from? If you had, you would be controlling a huge pirate industry which commits a crime in your dish! The ever-rising demand for fish in the international market has driven European and Asian fishing fleets towards the coasts of West Africa. Hundreds of industrial pirate ships are fishing illegally in the territorial waters of the nations of the area, devastating all forms of life in the ocean and condemning millions of Africans to poverty and hunger.  "Stealing from the Poor" was filmed in Senegal, where pirate fishing perpetrated by huge industrial vessels belonging to developed countries is depriving the inhabitants of this West African country of their main source of subsistence.

Trapped between Berlusconi and the Mafia, immigrants in Italy are under persecution. Africans, gypsies, Romanians and Slavs are being targeted. “Outraged citizens” are shooting at Africans, gypsy settlements are being burnt down by the angry mob, Camorra hitmen are shooting black people with no distinction and the city streets are being patrolled by “vigilante” groups in accord with the new anti-immigration law.

“There has been another moment in Italian history when they country’s security was commended to people who walked the streets wearing shirts of the same color”, says an emasculated left, making clear allusions to Mussolini’s Blackshirts. At the same time, Berlusconi’s Minister of Defense praises the bravery of the soldiers of the fascist regime, and Gianni Alemanno, once a member of a neo-fascist party, is elected mayor of the Eternal City.

Where is Italy heading?

Scientists consider Bangladesh to be the point zero of climate change. As the ice melts, the sea level is rising and this South Asian coastal country is sinking. It is estimated that, by the year 2050, approximately 20 million people will have abandoned their homes in Bangladesh, becoming climate refugees. This is a new and almost unknown term which describes, however, the emergence of the true face of climate change. According to predictions, by the year 2050 more than 250 million people from all over the world will have become climate refugees and will be crossing their countries’ borders. Now scientists warn of consequences not even comparable to the nuclear threat, with the world becoming a constant warzone where no one will live in peace…

DURATION: 63 min.

The rise of neo-Nazis in Russia is more than a fact! The biggest part of the world's neo-Nazis are today concentrated in Russia. Extremist ideas about racial purity and the extermination of immigrants, homosexuals, drug addicts and all the "useless pests that pollute the Russian White Race" find an ever more fertile ground in a population whose national pride was wounded during the years that followed the fall of the Soviet Union. "The Pack of White Wolves" is a hair-raising documentary which records the deadly activities of Russian skinheads, the stories of their innocent victims and the terrible threat emerging at the North of Europe.

DURATION: 60 min.

The "accidental" death of two teenagers at Clichy-sous-Bois touched off a series of violent riots that raged through France in November 2005. And for the unsuspecting international public opinion, from behind the ashes of thousands of torched vehicles there emerged the ghost of an unknown Europe, as well as of an unknown France, which keeps well hidden its millions of "second-class" citizens.

The camera enters the inaccessible Parisian ghettos, the heart of the riots. And it records the anger of the youths who are stifled with no recourse other than theft and drug peddling. The screen reveals for the first time to the world the armament of the rioters. Small-bore guns, automatics, sawed-off shotguns and rifles. The youths show photographs of themselves carrying machine guns...

Through searing imagery and with almost no other narrative than the lyrics of the songs of the ghetto, the documentary presents the unknown European citizens of the cités; the dark side of modern Europe, an unknown France of five million besieged and ghetto-bound citizens.
